COD Black Ops

The new Call of Duty game will be the best out of the Modern Warfare series. Now the game takes place during the Cold War and the weapons include both weapons from that time and modern weapons, so more people are going to have more fun because they have more weapons to choose from. Black ops will be one of the best Call of Duty games of the series. Gamers are really excited to get information about the new Call of Duty Black Ops game coming out this month. The new Call of Duty is going to be the best because of the weapons, graphics, and online fun.
In Call of Duty game, players get to pick out their guns. There in order from assault rifles, snipers rifles, sub machine guns, light machine guns, pistols, and some other new weapons. Not all the guns are available at the start. Some of them, players will have to unlock by playing split screen with someone else and getting a lot of kills. Not only the weapons, but the graphics in the game of Call of Duty are going to be the best.
The online play on Call of Duty has been popular because they have different kinds of games for people who play online. The fans of Call of Duty are going to be excited to this game and start going online to play with their friends or other people around the world. From the information, this game sounds like it's going to be the best, so if you think that you might like it go out and buy it and try it out for yourself.

THE Minnesota Twins

“ Going into the ninth inning, the White Sox are up by 11!” … “And that’s the final score, 11-0 the White Sox end their 4 game losses and the Twins’ six game winning streak.” … “The Twins now lead the division by four games.” The last time the Twins took on the White Sox they lost badly. On September 14, 2010 the Twins were away taking on the White Sox once again, while they defended their number one spot in the AL Central Division.

The first game of the series had no action up until the fifth inning. In the top of fifth the Twins scored first with two runs, but during the bottom of the fifth the White Sox scored two runs also. The game was mostly a one game lead between the two teams until the top of the eighth inning the Twins scored five runs, which sealed the game. The final score was 9-3, Twins.

The second game of the series was like a repeat of the first game. The Twins beat the White Sox 9-3 again. Like the first game, all the action started fifth inning when Joe Mauer of the Twins hit a three-run home run. After that, it was pretty much the White Sox playing catch up.

The last game of the series was exciting. All the Twins had to do was win one more game and they sweep the series. Also, the Twins now led the division by eight games. In this game the Twins also scored first, but this time they scored three runs in the second inning. The Twins kept scoring three until the ninth inning when Delmon Young hit a two run home run to make the final score 8-5.

Going into the series with the White Sox, the Twins were looking for wins. They played three great away games and got exactly what they were seeking. The Twins definitely got revenged for their last encounter with the White Sox. The Twins swept the series and increased their lead in the AL Central Division to nine games.

Not only do burgers appear on the elaborate menu, but there is also the choice of some of the tastiest, non greasy, fries that any person can handle since the portions are enormous.

If the burger and fries idea from Five Guys appeases your idea of an elaborate meal, then Five Guys is the place to go! There is definitely a range of time that goes on as someone orders a meal and receives it. No one knows how long it will take to prepare, because there are so many people waiting for their meal to be made. Eventually, an employee will scream out the order number and the meal is ready to enjoy!

Cellular Suicide

Buying the new iPhone 4 is committing cellular suicide. The new “Smartphone” is showing little brains in regards to new technology. Many users of Apple’s new iPhone 4 have been experiencing many technical issues since Apple’s release of the product. Problems of the product range from inconvenient to completely unfixable. Some of the main issues that the product has include: Losing signal when holding the device and excessive heat during operation of the device.


When picking up a call, most of us grip the sides of the phone. But that shouldn’t be done when using the iPhone 4. Users have reported an issue in gripping the sides and slowly losing bars of service of their phone and then completely lose signal, the iPhone may only take about half a minute. This bug has been reported to the company and Apple has come up with some solutions. In a recent interview, Apple CEO Steve Jobs says to one iPhone user to “Avoid holding it that way.”


Another problem with the iPhone 4 is that when using the device the iPhone tends to heat up to a good warm temperature. Users have noticed their battery life being drained much more quickly than it should. This is a result of the iPhone warming when using apps or just checking your E-mail. One user from a blog states that "I was just on hold for about twenty minutes surfing the net and had just hung up when I got the temperature warning." The temperature warning is a warning message that pops up on the iPhone and locks the user out for a period of time to allowing cooling of the device. The same user witnessed a change in his battery life as well, and said, "Although my battery is already on 60% and it was fully charge charged earlier and I haven’t done anything out of the ordinary."


The iPhone four: a technological god or just a buggy system? I’m going to have to go with the buggy system. I have yet to see any proof that the iPhone 4 is better than any other phone on the market with all of its issues. I recommend if one is plotting to purchase this device that one should wait until Apple comes out with a new model or just not buy one at all.

Go Jump off a Cliff

BASE jumping is a popular sport that combines some elements of paragliding and skydiving. The paragliding aspect is incorporated through jumping from a fixed object, where as the skydiving aspect is displayed through the free falling techniques. Most BASE jumpers have attempted both activities, but have decided that BASE jumping provides the biggest adrenaline rush.

During the 1960’s and 1970’s there were several attempts at BASE jumping, but usually weren’t successful. In 1978, Carl Boenish was successfulin inventing what has become modern BASE jumping. Boenish was convinced that their modern skydiving equipment was suitable for BASE jumping, and attempted a jump from El Capitan located in Yosemite Park, CA. He was successful and returned with four friends to repeat and film the jump. They were successful and landed safely and afterwards, they developed a name for the sport- BASE jumping. The word BASE is an acronym for the four types of fixed objects they jump from: Buildings, Antennas, Spans (Bridges), and Earth (Cliffs).

BASE jumping has progressed through the years as more sophisticated equipment designs have entered the market and different techniques have been created. The first BASE jumpers used round parachutes which reduce the jumpers control compared to the modern ram-air parachutes. They’re shaped rectangular to increase the jumpers control when the parachutes are deployed. These are some examples of the advancements of the equipment through the years.

Throughout the years, BASE jumping has evolved into a more defined sport. The equipment designs have made the sport unique from paragliding and skydiving (lower altitudes), providing the biggest adrenaline rush.

Quran burning

A Florida man considering burning copies of the Islamic Quran has stirred up lots of controversy around the world today. Making nationwide headlines, Rev. Terry Jones of Gainesville Florida threatens to burn the Islamic Quran in an attempt to protest against the September 11th 2001 tragedy.
The Quran burning story first started as a facebook group in July that later spread making American newspapers and news reports to protesting in late august. Rev Jones reasoning for burning the Quran is in order for him to not burn the Quran leader Imam Muhammad Musri of the Islamic Center of Central Florida needs to agree to move the location of the new Islamic center away from ground zero in New York City. Rev Jones says that Musri was indeed willing to help move the location of the mosque if the burning never takes place. "I verified that three or four times with witnesses. I trust that man who gave me that. I believe he is a man of integrity, a man of his word, I do not believe that he lied to me” - Jones says of the meeting between him and Musri. After later decisions between United States officials Rev Jones said that indeed the government did agree to move the location but in an interview with Musri he refused ever agreeing to move the location of the mosque.
Rev. Jones has finally agreed to not burn the Quran saying that the New York imam and Musri has “clearly, clearly lied to us”, in his obnoxious attempt to move the mosque away from ground zero.

America's Justice System: Abused and Misused

America is a nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice...for whom? Just ask America 's police, the ones who abuse their authority and forget their duty to justice for everyone. For years, the police system has forgotten their purpose: to protect and serve justice. Though we may not know it, examples of police abuse are ever-evident.

Let us first call to mind one of the best examples of police abuse in American history: the Civil Rights Movement. Seen in this picture, a black man was viciously attacked by two police dogs. Moments like these were common during the 1950's and 1960's, when segregation and discrimination were at their peak. Yet, police misconduct has not stopped here; it continues today. In June of 2010, the New York Times wrote that a New York City police officer was testified in court for using excessive force after he had beat a man to the ground and then threatened to kill him. Earlier that year in February, the New York Times also wrote about a 2008 arrest in Brooklyn, on a case that "recalled some of the city's most notorious police brutality episodes." Here, a police officer had sexually assaulted a man with his metal baton.

In American, police brutality diminishes our country's pride and honor, and their practice is an abuse of authority. Abuse in the justice system is no justice at all, and American police should take into mind the words they utter when their hands cross their hearts. With eyes set upon the American flag, dishonor hangs from their words when they say "with liberty, and justice for all."

“Bold.” “Sleek.” “Innovative.” These are just a few words used to describe the newest addition to the Audi family, the A7. The A7 is the standard for the companies new look. Audi wanted a car that could excel in today’s car market and ultimately reshape it. Audi wanted a car that could meet the requirements for a fun-to-drive coupe but could also be used as the family get-around car. Perhaps the most important trait of the A7 was that it retained Audi’s signature, Luxury.

The A7 combines state-of-the-art electronics with the “classic luxury feel” to create a car that’s not just fun to drive, but also tolerable for long drives. One feature that stands out is the pop-up touch-screen command interface on the dash (radio, temperature, etc.). “Sporty” is also one of the components Audi wanted in their new model. The A7 is an overall station wagon but smooth lines were used to create a “Sportback” fastback coupe design.

The A7 comes with 4 different V6 engines depending on the drivers’ preference. There is the smaller 2.8L gasoline engine that puts out 204 H.P. There is the 3.0L that puts out almost 300 H.P. Then there are the Clean Diesel (TDI) variants that provide high MPG’s.

King Uncaged

With six “more than successful” albums over a nine-year span, rapper Clifford (T.I.) Harris Jr. is more than ready to drop his up and coming debut “King Uncaged.” T.I. is also ready to put his recent prison sentence behind him and re-take his rightful name as “King of the South.”

With his recent release from prison, T.I. is back in the studio and is more than ready to release another one of his new creations. Before starting his one-year prison sentence, T.I. told Rolling Stone he was recording tracks for a new album. This upcoming album is now known to be the last of a trilogy, starting with “T.I. vs. T.I.P.” and “Paper Trail.” According to rap-up.com more than 100 songs have been recorded for the album. T.I. now has to sit down and decide the fourteen songs to release to the world. After only a few short months of being released, promo singles for the album “I’m Back” and “Got Your Back” quickly rose to number forty-four and thirty-eight on the Billboard Hot 100. T.I. has told reporters that listeners can expect songs about his time in prison, love, life, and why he is unsurpassable.

T.I. has not only changed as a new man since his time in prison, but is now ready to show what he has learned from his experience and what he is willing to do to put his name back on top.
